Founded in 1834, German silversmith Philipp Wolf I created the company, Wolf, when he discovered that his silver pieces sold more when presented in beautiful boxes. As he began selling more boxes than silver, he refocused his designs so that he could create elegant jewellery cases that not only looked good, but could also protect meaningful treasures.
